COVID-19 Update
The Hop Yard is a community focused business and our number one priority is keeping our customers, staff and visitors safe. We are taking the Coronavirus Pandemic seriously and effective immediately we will be taking the following measures to keep our place of business a healthy place to gather.
Cleanliness: We've prioritized cleanliness at the hop yard since opening in 2014, but we will be stepping it up even more during this time. The hop yard is thoroughly cleaned every night but we are now taking additional steps to keep it clean all day. You may notice our staff applying disinfectant to surface areas more frequently and washing their hands more often (especially after bussing tables). We will also be supplying hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for customers should you wish to take more precautions.
Food and Drink: Effective immediately and for the month of March we will be cancelling all events that involve sharing of food and drink including Pizza Mondays and Bottle Share. Please feel free to continue to bring snacks for your own consumption.
Employees: We are asking any employee exhibiting any symptoms similar to COVID-19 to stay home.
Large Gatherings: As per the most recent NC response to COVID-19 we will be cancelling all gatherings of more than 100 people. We have therefore postponed our Spring Equinox Vendor Market until further notice.
With all this in mind, we respectfully ask that our guests exercise similar cautions and avoid public spaces if you feel sick at all or have had prolonged contact with anyone who is sick. Take a 6 pack home or have us deliver one to you.
It is our hope that these steps, in addition to the nightly deep cleaning will bring a sense of comfort and ease to your experience at the hop yard. We will get through this together and be safely able to continue to gather as a community. In times like these it is more important than ever to continue to support independent local businesses. If you are healthy, please do still come along and see us for a pint or two!
Thanks for your continued patronage
